The Houses

You get two guest houses, three docks, a pool, and two and a half acres of island all to yourselves.

Everything here was built so one group can spread out and still be together. Together the two houses sleep sixteen adults in real beds when couples share, and up to twenty-four when the futons are used.

Every bedroom has its own air conditioning, which is rare in Bocas del Toro, plus a private ensuite bathroom, proper linens, and Starlink. There's a large pool with room for the whole group and a hot tub for the evenings. Pets are welcome too.

The staff live in dedicated on-site housing and are always available without ever being underfoot.

The lay of the land

Around the island

Two and a half acres, two houses, three docks, and the pavilion at the center. Everything is a short walk on the concrete paths, and the water is never more than a minute away.

The main hacienda

The main hacienda is the two-story anchor of the property, with six bedrooms in all. Upstairs, the master suite has a king bed, and a second ensuite bedroom has two twin XL beds the kids tend to claim. Downstairs, four king ensuite bedrooms each add a futon that folds down into a double bed, sleeping up to four per room.

Across both houses, a retreat sleeps nine in real beds, thirteen when a second guest takes the futon in each downstairs room, or sixteen when couples share a king; the full breakdown is on the Retreats page.

The upstairs and downstairs covered porches are made for entertaining and gathering.

The four downstairs bedrooms open straight onto the porch, so anyone who'd rather skip stairs can have one of those. The island has some slopes and steps along its paths, so tell us about anyone with limited mobility and we'll plan the rooms and the boat around them.

The waterfront bungalow

The bungalow is a second full residence with its own boat dock, kitchen, and two ensuite bedrooms, each with a king bed. The comfortable porch is set up for watching the world and the boats go by.

Because it's set apart from the main house, the Bungalow works perfectly for the part of the group that wants its own space.

The Pavilion

The roofed, open-sided pavilion at the center of the island is the practice space for a retreat, the meeting room for an offsite, and the reception hall for a wedding under string lights. Its roof carries the solar panels that run the island.
