Aerial view of green islands and turquoise water in Bocas del Toro, Panama

An all-inclusive private island, staffed for your group and nobody else.

The whole island is yours, one group at a time. Mornings start with coffee on the dock while the kids are already in the pool. Days go wherever you tell the captain to point the boat, a reef, a surf break, a beach with nobody on it. Nights end under stars and string lights at the pavilion, dinner prepared and served by our staff, late night karaoke or pool parties with nobody watching the clock.

The main hacienda has six ensuite bedrooms, your own private pool, and a hot tub, and the two-bedroom (also ensuite) waterfront bungalow sits proudly, giving a commanding view over the water. Together they sleep up to twenty-four in air conditioned comfort, fully connected to Starlink.

Stay

The hacienda gathers everyone under one roof, and the bungalow gives whoever wants quiet their own dock and porch. Eight ensuite bedrooms in all, and a pool that never closes.

Dining

Our chef prepares three meals a day, and at the bar you will find local cocktails sure to delight. Most ingredients come from our gardens on the property or local farms across the archipelago.

Even the Picky Eater Will Be Thrilled

Our staff gets to know your group's tastes before you arrive, and we stock the kitchen around your preferences. Whether it is the eight-year-old who only eats chicken fingers or the gluten-free aunt, we handle all of it. No foreign grocery runs, and no drawing straws over who is stuck doing dishes.

Experiences

Snorkel the reef at first light, ride horseback through Bastimentos by lunch, and swim through bioluminescence under the Milky Way after dark. Our captain and the boat are yours the whole stay.

Your Captain Is Already Waiting

Whether you want the best beach for sunset, the best spot for evening dancing in Bocas Town, or a surf and snorkel run at first light, your personal boat chauffeur has you covered.

Who Is Dia Bonito Resorts?

Why We Built Dia Bonito

As parents, we were sometimes confused when we heard people looking forward to vacations. To be honest, we used to dread vacations because they were the opposite of restful. Two weeks of extra work before we left just to clear the calendars, then two weeks of catching up when we got back. The trip itself wasn't rejuvenating. It was chaos herding everyone from one attraction to the next, picking restaurants by committee, splitting checks, and negotiating each day's plan like a hostage release. We came home more tired than when we left.

Through friends, we found Bocas del Toro and fell for it instantly. However, it seemed all the resorts here were adults-only or designed to serve masses of backpackers in hostels just passing through. There simply was no place a family could land together and make memories.

So since we couldn't find it, we built it. We bet everything to build a place for our family and yours.

Whether you are eight or eighty, whether you like to stay up and howl at the moon or wake with the sun, our island is entirely yours. You set the schedule, and our live-in staff makes it perfect. Imagine never having to herd cats: everyone in one place and nobody arguing over where to eat dinner tonight or what to do for an activity. We designed this to create a group trip you cherish for the rest of your life.

Room To Gather

At the center of the island stands our solar pavilion. Its roof carries thirty-three solar panels feeding a 75 kWh battery bank that powers the entire island: every air conditioner, the pool, the kitchen, and all the lights. We are fully off grid, so this is quite literally where the island's life comes from.

It is grand enough for a 150-person seated wedding under string lights, yet intimate enough for sunrise yoga or a hammock nap with a piña colada and a good book. It hosts a corporate offsite that doesn't feel stuffy just as easily as karaoke sessions that run late into the night. Whatever vibe you bring, the space was built to flex to it.
