What a retreat here costs, and what you keep.

The whole island is yours alone for the week: eight bedrooms, a roofed pavilion for practice, a chef, housekeeping, and a host who lives here. You pay one flat nightly rate, meals included, and what you keep is everything you charge minus that rate, card processing, and your own costs. This sheet gives you the number, what it covers, and where you break even.

Founding Members Pricing

Our first three retreats are founding member retreats. This means you get a special edition Dia Bonito Solarte Founding Member polo and discounted rates of $2,550 a night instead of $3,000. In return, we ask for a short video testimonial from you and any willing guests at the end of the week and permission to film and photograph activities where appropriate. It's a win-win - you get fifteen percent off and some excellent photos and videos of you doing what you do best, and we get to proudly be the backdrop of it all.

Limited Time Introductory Rates

$3,000 a night, meals included, minimum 5 nights.

That covers up to 9 people, including you and your team. Each additional guest is $225 a night, up to sixteen. Panama's lodging tax is included.

Past sixteen, extra guests stay at our partner, the Jungle Hotel, in Bocas Town, which we book, and ride across each day for practice and meals. They're quoted per guest per night on the planning call and aren't in the table below.

A 7-night retreat is $21,000 for up to 9 people, and a 10-night stay is $30,000. Founding rates are 15% off.

What's included

Our chef cooks three meals a day, tailored to your program and any dietary needs, with coffee, tea, water, and fresh fruit smoothies harvested from our island. Housekeeping comes through daily. Our team greets every participant at Bocas del Toro airport. We'll trade you a fresh umbrella drink for your luggage and work to get you and your bags on the boat to head to the island. The entire place is yours - you can snorkel off the dock and check out our reef that would make Nemo jealous, you can stargaze off the back property at night and see the Milky Way with your naked eyes, or you can relax in the pool or hot tub and watch the fireflies dance. Paddleboards and kayaks are available for those who love the water, and our large activities pavilion is for the landlubbers. Hammocks abound, relaxation awaits, and for those who love to get their hands dirty, we always offer cooking lessons, sourdough classes, cheese-making, and dozens of other fun activities with our chef.

What isn't

Alcohol, boat excursions off the island, surf and scuba, massage, and gratuities to the staff.

What you keep

These figures are for seven nights at the standard rate, after the island, card processing at about three percent, and $3,000 of your own costs (flights, marketing, insurance, welcome gifts). Fifteen participants plus you fills the island at sixteen.

You break even at nine participants charging $3,000, eight at $3,500, and seven at $4,000. On the founding rate, add $3,150 to every number above; break-even drops to eight, seven, and six. Price from the number you're confident you can fill, not from a sold-out island.

The rooms

Eight private, each with its own full bathroom and air conditioning. Seven have a king bed and one has two twin XL beds. That's nine guests with everyone in a real bed. The four downstairs king rooms each have a futon that folds down into a double bed, which gets you to thirteen with two to a room downstairs, or sixteen when couples share a king. Most leaders sell three tiers from that: private room, shared room, and couple's room. The master suite is usually yours.

Holding your dates

Fifty percent of the island rate secures your dates. The balance is due sixty days before you arrive. If you cancel more than 90 days out, we fully refund your deposit. If you cancel sixty to ninety days out, you lose the deposit. If you cancel within sixty days, payments aren't refunded. Bookings made sixty days or less before arrival are paid in full. You can move your dates once, at no cost, if you ask ninety days or more before your retreat, to new dates within twelve months of your original dates.
